Sleep Deprivation
Any sufferers? Obviously WHO is the best place to ask as I know we have an abundance of experts here!

Since this Covid stuff started I've been WFH and basically had a lot more time on my hands to stay up late, eat more and stupidly exercise less so getting less air in to my lungs.

For the last week or so I've had terrible sleep as in bed at around 11pm up at around 3am back to sleep up around 6am back to sleep and then up as Kate as 11am or later. As well as these sleep patterns I've had a lot of flashbacks to school days (some good some bad dreams and nightmares)

I'm waking up after this disturbed sleep constantly yawning and aching all over and feeling like I have the flu' but this passes after a few hours once I do a few things around the house but then repeats not every night but at least every couple of nights.

I have suffered in the past with anxiety and depression badly but it's now more under control but obviously something is triggering this (I'm up now but in bed)

I await the cunting (expected and sometimes funny) amongst some (around 2%) serious answers and suggestions.

Search Michael Sealy on YouTube of Spotify

Stick it on. Listen. Follow the instructions. Never make it to the end and wake up refreshed.

Oh an exercise.

Your body goes through a 90 min cycle 24/7...from peak awake to tired.

Thats why you yawn during the day.

Tune in to your cycle and get to know when you might drop off.

That or neck a bottle of Red and skin up a fat one.

You just get used to it. There are two kinds of sleep apnea and I have them both.

Apparently Loose Women is returning soon.

Record that then watch it for 10 minutes or so when you want to go to sleep. Best suggestion I can think of.

Maybe if you get up Kate at 11pm rather than 11am it might help?

Download YouTube Vanced so you can listen to it with the screen off. Documentaries on the Cosmos work for me. That or the ramblings of weirdo David Icke. Or smoke weed, obviously and have a weed wank.
Or, if you're a fucking doormat, allow your wife to poison you with a high vitamin/mineral regime without question.

Challenge yourself to masturbate until climax using particular imagery or porn that doesn't actually turn you on.

I literally never go to sleep without listening to an audiobook. They have to be a fairly lighthearted, relaxing audiobook, though, not something that will make you tense.

"If you're struggling to sleep get up and have a cup of tea"

Your advice to someone trying to sleep is to ingest caffeine?!

Re: Sleep Deprivation
try this. I was suffering pretty bad with anxiety due to issues at work a couple of year back. I came across this in the paper and tried it. Still works to this day. as long as i am feeling a lyle tired i can almost g'tee i will be asleep in 2 minutes

- Relax the muscles in your face, including tongue, jaw and the muscles around the eyes
- Drop your shoulders as far down as they’ll go, followed by your upper and lower arm, one side at a time
- Breathe out, relaxing your chest followed by your legs, starting from the thighs and working down
- You should then spend 10 seconds trying to clear your mind before thinking about one of the three following images:
You’re lying in a canoe on a calm lake with nothing but a clear blue sky above you
You’re lying in a black velvet hammock in a pitch-black room
You say “don’t think, don’t think, don’t think” to yourself over and over for about 10 seconds.

for me its mainly the deep breathing and visualisation that works.

If you're struggling to sleep get up and have a cup of tea, listen to the wireless or read. Then try to go back to sleep.

What time should we be tucked up by? What a bunch of cunts modern day men are. Jeez.

Plenty of exercise, eat right, don’t stay up late. ZMAs are very good, as is magnesium powder mixed with water.

I was thinking I'd learned a new cultural reference. But far more mundane. Fwiw, I've never heard of it described as syrupy. You may be on to something.
